Web 2.0 and the Public Schools

AUP's (Acceptable Use Policies) are given out each year to students as well as faculty to sign and return prior to using the district's computers. With the onset of web2.0 tools and the expansion of the internet over the past ten years, it is more crucial than ever, that the AUP covers all of the bases.

David Warlick has created a wonderful resource for administration and educators to utilize when it comes to figuring out the in's and out's of Acceptable Use Policies in this fast paced "internet super highway".

School AUP 2.0 is a wiki resource with extensive information regarding adaptability and ethical issues.
